Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the boldest founder of them all...

I speak with hundreds of startup founders every year. What I find interesting is how they view themselves.

I find that many founders don't view themselves as bold and ambitious. Sometimes the opposite. They consider themselves as quite conservative and cannot imagine themselves at the top.

In many cases, they got burnt from an experience of the past. Sometimes it's in school, their parents, grandparents, their colleagues or ex-managers. They might have experience humiliation, very negative feedback or even bullying.

Most of them need a mirror to show them they can do anything they wish to do. They could be at the top and nothing could stop them.

Sometimes they just need to stand in front of the mirror and tell it to themselves, sometimes that mirror is me!
