AI Engineers are the new "Super Athletes"!

The talent war around AI has step up another levels. Meta has offered signing bonuses of up to $100m to poach top talent from Open AI.

They also made a very expensive acquihire of the Scale AI CEO 28 year old billionaire Alexandr Wang, in a deal of $14.3b for a 49% stake in Scale AI, for him to join Meta's 'superintelligence' unit.

The talent war between the tech giants was always fierce, and many of the people who worked with me at Amazon moved to either Microsoft, Stripe, Meta of Google.

However, now top AI talent has agents who negotiate those deals on their behalf and take a cut. The deals and bonuses are so large that it is a good business models for them.

And you know what, if we can make the new superstars for the new generation, let it be AI talent.
